Greetings! It’s been two years since I posted on this blog, so I’m guessing you figured out by now that I’ve dropped it. I wanted to offer one last post to explain why I’ve abandoned it.
About a year and a half ago we moved into our new home, which was chaotic, but also awesome. We love our new home, neighborhood, community, and region, and things are rolling along. At this point we do not plan on updating our home study. We would still love to adopt, and we are confident we can have a home study completed in a matter of weeks if the need arises, but we are not actively seeking out an adoption match. It just doesn’t feel like the right thing for us to be doing right now, and we’re focused on enjoying being a family of three at the moment.
I’d like to continue blogging, but since my focus isn’t on adoption anymore, I’ll be returning to my personal blog. If you’d like to follow me there, drop me a line and I’d be happy to send you the link. This blog will remain active so if you know someone who would like to know more about us, you can still send them here. All the info here is still accurate and relevant, it just doesn’t have updates on the latest happenings in our family. Best wishes!
